Outreach

• Thursday lunch program   11:30 AM   for anyone in need of a hot meal and warm fellowship.

                 Sponsored by the Cresecnt Beach Community Services, funded by United Way and the community and church

• Collecting for others:

  eyeglasses, sorted and packaged to go to "third world countries"

  stamps,

  ink cartridges,

  Campbell Soup labels

   

• Travel - to other cultures with Rev. Dr. Merv Lutes and Barbara - To Turkey, Costa Rica, Holy Land, New Zealand and Australia
• Travel - to the Himalayas of Nepal, with Rev. Joan McMurtry,  April of 2006  Trekking, learning and growing spiritually on the trek, by exposure to other faiths and cultures, and walking in the "land of the gods".
• Food and clothing for the food bank, Vancouver East side and Whalley
• Peace and Justice Collective
• Social Justice Film Festival:  to raise social justice awareness in the Peninsula  Coming February 2006
• Financial commitment to the United Church of Canada, Mission and Service Fund
